and water - VÖLKL have also used innovative technology in
the other elements of the new ATTIVA family. SOL, VIENTO,
AIRE and AGUA have a brand new combination of Power Grip
ski construction and 3Motion ski bindings. The new Power
Grip construction that's interrupted in the binding area
allows the contact between the ski boot and the edge to
become even more direct. The fully integrated 3Motion
binding system is embedded directly above the edges in the
Power Grip construction, over four contact points. It
creates a rounded ski flex in the sensitive binding area
that has never been achieved before. VÖLKL has fitted the
models with a new, active ADS dampening system for a
smoother skiing experience. The Full Sensor Wood Core
gives SOL a compact and energy-packed touch, while VIENTO,
AIRE and AUGUA have more relaxed dynamics and sporty, but
not too aggressive characteristics. With these balanced
qualities they are best suited to sporty pleasure skiers. |
The
Völkl did not disappoint, resonating soundly with almost
all of our testers. The model received particularly high
scores on long turns and edge stability. |
