Race/Slalom. And it goes without saying that skis in
this category are by no means inferior to the ones  for
men.
Meanwhile they convince even visually, and who says that
a strong ski cannot look good, too; in fact, they should!
The results of this year’s test are a good proof of
this trend – among the top four are all three winners
of the SnowStyle Award 2006. It’s gonna be a wonderful
winter, my ladies: strong, fast – and beautiful!

Lisa-Marie Auer from the skiing and hotel
management school in Bad Hofgastein and Andrea
Schaffer and Simone Laubichler form the skiing
and commercial school in Schladming.

| The GS RACING
TITANIUM is a racing ski for the toughest giant slalom
demands and long turns. The explosive SL RACING, in
contrast, favors shorter radii and tight slalom turns.
Both models constitute out-and-out high tech racing
machines packed with world cup technology. Its extremely
compact skiing feeling is a result of the XTD Sensor Wood
Core, a special wooden core which spans the entire length
and width of the ski. Two additional wooden cores above
the edges complement the further developed Double Grip XTD
construction which guarantees precise and maximum grip. In
addition, the fast RACETIGERS are even powered by titanium.
The ski is reinforced by a layer of titanal – a high
strength and very light aluminum alloy located above and
below the wooden core. The high quality construction meets
the demands of top skiers as the titanal inserts develop
their brilliant cushioning effect only at top speeds. |
