It is around 38 degrees Celsius and we start to pack the car with skis, boots and clothes. We drive up to the north east part of Beijing where we know that there is an indoor skiing area.

Reaching the reception area feels more like entering a hotel or a spa, but they start to ask us about the skis so we are at the right place.
On the floor above the reception we find a snowboard shop, a ski shop as well as the after ski area. There is also a good view of the two slopes. Impressive for being indoors.  Most of the information is in Chinese, but they told us that the longest slope is 260 meters.
Entering the arena is like walking into another world. Snow and a temperature of -2 degrees Celsius.
The long slope has two sections. The major upper part is more of a red slope while the bottom part is a pure blue.
Two happy skiers having after ski, ready for walking out in the hot and sunny Beijing weather again.
