The valley of Rauris just a fascinating impression!

The national park valley Rauris hides many treasures to explore: Gold panning in the clear, soughing mountain stream, bearded and white-headed vultures in their natural surrounding, the old forests, the panorama street to the end of the valley Kolm Saigurn, where the old gold mining ruins reminds us about former times and in winter a untouched snow landscape apart from the busy ski-run.

Winter wonderland Whether if you are an avid skier, snowboarder, cross-country skier, or do tobogganing, snow shoe hiking, ski tours or winter hiking we have everything in Rauris ‘cause physical action is an essential part in our valley.
Rauris, weather observation valley and valley of the bearded vultures and of the Tauerngold’
Summer
Between the Sonnblick (3.105 m) with the weather observation stationary and the Kitzloch gorge’ are 253 km2 finest mountain area is the national park Hohe Tauern.
Everyone that needs a rest can now follow the roots of the Säumer’. They carried in former times salt, gold and other staff across the Tauern’ mountain. A great amount of sightseeing-possibilities are available by car, bus or with a small walk in the breathtaking nature of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.
Visit a House-beer-brewery, 600-year-old Schnaps distillery, wwf-station for watching at bearded vultures, wild life park, gold panning places, ruins of the gold digger time, and rare animals and nature places in the alps like the Rauriser Urwald, a famous wood with over 80 small lakes.
