Zweisimmen - The gateway to Gstaad
The Mt. Rinderberg aerial cableways takes you directly from the village center of Zweisimmen to the larges ski area of Gstaad Mountain Rides – Rinderberg / St. Stephan / Saanersloch / Hornberg and Horneggli, where 105 km of lopes await you. Zweisimmen is the perfect access point to the ski region of Gstaad with 250 km of slopes. There are plenty parking lots awailable free of charge.
The sunny plateau of Mt. Sparenmoos lies above Zweisimmen at an altitude of 1600 m. It is a perfect alternative to skiing and offers 38 km of cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking paths, snow-shoe trails and also dog sledding activities. From Mt. Sparenmoos you can sled down 7 km to Zweisimmen. At night, the sled run is lit.
Fun with snow for everyone
The ski region of Gstaad Mountain Rides has the ideal slope for everyone. The smaller skiers clearly prefer the Wispile, a mountain for children, others might indulge on the slopes of Eggli, for those with a desire for beautiful panoramic views and crisp high altitude air, the Glacier 3000 can fulfil this desire. Carvers will take advantage of the wide slopes between Rinderberg and Horneggli and the Freestylers are repeat customers at the snowpark of Saanersloch.
